Opened in 1983, the stadium was named after Prince Moulay Abdellah, brother of King Hassan II. From the very beginning, it was designed to host large-scale competitions and enhance Morocco’s international sporting reputation With a seating capacity of about 53,000 spectators, Stade Moulay Abdellah is among the largest stadiums in Morocco. Its architectural design ensures maximum visibility for fans, while the venue also includes an athletics track and modern facilities that comply with FIFA standards.
